Worked like a champ! It is amusing to watch a green PC
screen pop up on my X desktop, and run an equally archaic
program.

I will play more with the program tomorrow, perhaps even
tweak it a bit in the pcbasic environment. Then I will
contact the author, an 80yo U.Arizona astronomy emeritus
and long-time internet buddy. I'm guessing he will
enjoy playing with his old program over the internet
from my server.

This program may have calculated the first crude impact
assessments for asteroid 101995 Bennu back in 1999.
Those warnings led to the OSIRIS-REx asteroid probe
mission, now returning to Earth with 60 grams of samples.
