Why: The pursuit of technology freedom

Live patching enables software programs to be modified while running.
With live patching, there's no need to "turn it off and on again".
There are multiple implementations around for both kernel and userspace
live patching. In this presentation, I will cover Libpulp, a framework
for userspace live patching, and you will learn: what Libpulp does, how
it applies patches and what a live patch looks like, the tools that it
provides, how to build and test, and how to contribute.
