I just deleted zoom and reinstalled it on my computer. It worked.

Meetup is getting ready for an upgrade. (Linux Mint OS and Firefox).

Subject: [PLUG] question on Zoom call freeze

Hi:

I have already contacted Zoom about this and they supplied their website
information, but it did not help.

My openSuse Leap 15.2 OS goes into a Plasma5 desktop freeze when running
the Zoom meeting, and I've been able to localize it to when the video
camera is activated and running as I can run the Zoom app without
freeze, by keeping the video camera disabled. The video cam and internal
speakers are fine, as an 87 minute session on a Zoom call on another OS
showed.

I suspect a frame freeze, or perhaps some other type of video driver
code might have gotten called?

What can I put in place to monitor and locate exactly where the problem
is occurring?

Thanks for the suggestions, as this freeze forces me to do a manual
reset, hammering the hard drives.

Randall
