Yeah, that's what I usually do.

Hard to say. One of my mouse buttons is wearing out, the index finger button, but I don't think that's it. I've started using a different mouse, so we'll see if the problem comes up again. As far as I've been able to notice, it's a totally random thing. I know that's not likely, but I haven't seen anything obvious about what I did when it got stuck.
