HP, used to work every time I installed it, now it is a nightmare. In fact it is calling for QT5 stuff that should not be needed as far as I know. I have never seen that before in all of the instances where I have installed hplip...
I am running Ubuntu Mate, I have found that it allows me to do things that Ubuntu does not, I also run compiz on it and it appears to be happy with that. (I like my desktop cube) I would like to just get me a scanner and be done with it. I do not need to inkjet, I have a Dell laser printer that works very well.
