Hello everyone,
Here's a possible idea. For those who don't know what a Game Jam is, here's
a wikipedia quote: "A game jam is an event where participants try to make a
video game from scratch. Depending on the format, participants might work
independently, or in teams. The event duration usually ranges from 24 to 72
hours." Now, what if something similar was done, but for Linux software. It
could be online and a week in length where participants make Linux software
which can include the use of previous work or others' work provided they
don't do plagiarism and there's a certain amount of originality (can be
discussed what that amount is) and then it can be voted maybe by the
participants what the best one is and maybe the winners for potential
awards or similar things. Please discuss ideas and things as you want.
