I have an important Zoom meeting Friday and I want to use the Brave Browser
on my Slackware64-14.2 desktop.

When I tried, Zoom told me my installed zoom version was too old and I
should download a current version. I did so and installed it after deleting
the current zoom/ directory.

Each time I try to open a test meeting I get the same message: version's too
old, download and install the current one. A web search taught me that I
need to log into my zoom account to see the version number (feh!); since I
can't log in ... anyway, the file timestamps on the new installation is Apr
2 20:50 hours. That seems new enough for me.

I also get another error, that libcef.so cannot be found. A thread on the
zoom community said that a possible solution is to re-install the latest
version. Did that, no difference.

I'd like suggestions/recommendations for resolving this issue. If not I'll
contact the meeting organizer and ask for a phone number to join the meeting
if I can't get the video, microphone, and headphones working in the browser.

TIA,

Rich
