The original RAID1 logical volume broke; wiped out both disks. Now I do the backups to bkup1 and will then synchronize the incremental changes to bkup2 so I have separate hard drives, both current.
Why not just use 1 tool such as rdiff-backup? It's simpler and it has more useful backup & recover features.
I've been using dirvish for 15-20 years and see no reason to change. Thanks, Rich
