Activestate has the "perl dev kit" that will compile a stand-alone binary for linux/win. I preferr the older 5.1 version because it creates samller binaries more easily that the new 5.6.
I use it regularly to "compile" over 2100 total lines of perl weekly.. and ive run same binary on all versions/flavors of linux. Check the dets here: http://activestate.com/Products/Perl_Dev_Kit/ > I suppose I should ask this to the perl mongers list ... > > Does anybody know of a perl COMPILER, that will compile perl code to a > binary for Linux? > And it can't be "B" because I've tried that and it hoses. > > Thank you! > > Matthew Frederico > > > -- > -- Matthew Frederico > http://www.ultrize.com > .===================================. > | This has been a P.L.U.G. mailing. | > | Don't Fear the Penguin. | > | IRC: #utah at irc.freenode.net | > `===================================' > > Taber J.
