You've already received some advice on enclosures; I'd recommend
paying $100 for an enclosure that has an MPEG4 decoder chip and can be
powered of of USB, the Vantec Avox Jukebox.  That way you can enjoy
your jpgs, mp3s, ripped DVDs, HD video files anywhere, and still be
able to use the drive for external storage.  The device has composite
