So in the begining that was their agenda. I point you to there current

"The mission of the ACLU is to preserve all of these protections and
guarantees:

  - Your First Amendment rights - freedom of speech, association and
assembly; freedom of the press, and freedom of religion.
  - Your right to equal protection under the law - equal treatment
regardless of race, sex, religion or national origin.
  - Your right to due process - fair treatment by the government
whenever the loss of your liberty or property is at stake.
  - Your right to privacy - freedom from unwarranted government
intrusion into your personal and private affairs."

And I could point to the 'about' page for all sorts of politicians and
companies. Lots of things stated, but how many of them do I really believe?

anyone can skim the surface of the ACLU and get warm and fuzzy about their cloaking comments. Dig deeper! Look at what they really do, the suits they bring before local courts nationwide that are not widely publicized... not what they say they do in a mission statement. They count on confusion and misdirection of the uniformed masses. There is nearly a century of track record to back this up... with a few cases to throw the hounds off the scent.

Diverting attention from the silliness of HB 139 was not the purpose of my comments as it took me 18 months of research on the ACLU and related topics for a project I am involved in. Do not make the mistake of aligning with the ACLU on anything unless you believe communism and/or socialism is the best system for the US as a whole. At that point you are my political enemy as I seek to preserve the very threads of freedom that many wisk away deliberately, or by ignorance, or by indifference.

HB139, or any version of it, must be defeated. I do not use wireless access due to security restrictions on most of what I do, but I believe the "for the children" mantra attached to it is a misrepresentation of what is really behind this movement and/or used to sway the ignorant. I do not like porn and fight it every day, but this is bill is the wrong way to do so.
