I've found the best solution is to simply let them live in their ignorance. Just about any approach to "correcting" them will be seen as condescending and rude.

When I receive those emails I chuckle to myself as I hit delete.

I have a few friends who are nice and fun otherwise, but have no clue

Is there any fun and yet legal way of passing them a little pain, a bit
of annoyance, to teach them to use Bcc: and to trim off needless parts
of emails they forward? Anyone know of any tactics to get their
attention?

What would be the ramifications of snagging someone's list and sending a
notice about netiquette to it, or similar?

Suggestions?
