quoted in the KSL report, and in talking with this friend, additional
details about the situation were given me concerning the aunt, and the
circumstances surrounding this horrific event.

Given this info, please understand that this might be a bit too personal for
me to detach myself and consider this from an objective point of view, but
I've got to say, the egos some people have around here are .... something
else. Seriously astounding. This hasn't been anything new to me, because
I've been a lurker here for years.

This whole conversation has been highly offensive, and so seriously
off-topic, I'm considering leaving altogether. Yet, when the topic is on,
right along with the egos, the Linux knowledge and insight of some people
here is also something else.

Concerning what has been said, and regarding your question, Dan, the very
idea of applying the word "negligent" to the offender is so offensive to me,
I'm in awe at your level of inconsideration at who might be reading your
words. If it were your child who was killed, or you were the one who killed
the child, I can only imagine how furious you would be if you happened to
read this thread.

>From the inside information I have, let it be known that there was nothing
negligent, NOTHING NEGLIGENT about what the aunt did. It was a complete
accident by definition of the word.

I hope you are completely and totally alone in your thinking this had
anything to do with negligence. Please think twice before letting such raw
topics be talked about so flippantly in the future.
