I agree with the smartphone barcode integration. I'd love that for the same.
My very low key solution for the time being, is barcodes and labels. That is, after I wrap my head around the OOo way to insert code128 and some human readable font of the 250 uuids I generated. I'm not sold on uuids, but it was a model to play with for now. Print a few of the same uuid for a bankers box, and maintain a google doc, then I can search it for contents, and then hunt down that box. I created 250 in hopes I'll never have to create more. Naturally, I don't have to print all the pages in the work flow. Have you checked sf.net or freshmeat.net? This is a B3/C priority for me, so I may not get to it too soon. Cheers, Scott.
