recruiterspeak here, but If you must work, I would either just do
strict contract work, or look for an "internship" in your field
(Novell pays for these and others may) and either avoid Best Buy or
never ever mention it on your resume.  It will look like something
went "wrong" with you (aka, you went crazy) going from white collar to
blue collar and, instead of ever asking you (or researching to realize
you were in school then), they will just "next" your resume right out
of consideration.  Fair? Not likely, but ...what is?

Also, there's no better time than now to for a break in your
employment to be ok. Just note that you are in school during the time
(not home brushing up your xbox kinect skills).
