I have an "extraordinary claim" that may help quell this "debate." You
seem to be bitter and aghast over a topic in a field you seem to have
little practical knowledge or experience. To further this with some
"extraordinary evidence," you seem to focus on political viewpoints of
topics that are not as effected by politics as they are by practical
application and rigorous testing in a skeptical culture. Levi has
presented rational explanations and your response amounts to "and how
DARE they get funding for this nonsense!"

I'm just going to throw out a guess that science beat you as a child and
while a pity, your viewpoint on the subject might be rather skewed.
Less tongue-in-cheek: You are being irrational and acting like a
victim. Please stop so Levi can stop typing well written and lengthy
explanations making your position look more irrational than you are
attempting to be.
