The only problem with the nest co and smoke detector is I have 8 in my house and at 200-250 each it gets really expensive really fast. I have found that BRK makes a co and co/smoke detector call the one link. They can be battery only or hardwired. But what's nice is they use AA batteries and I have coupled them with my home automation system for all kinds of good things. Mainly so that it will tell me which one has the low battery. Since they always seem to die in the middle of the night when I can think properly. Plus I really hate the idea of one annoying beep every 45 seconds.
