I want to open multiple files in windows in a specific layout.

Ex:
   | 3 | 6 |
   | | |
 1 +---+---+ 9
   | | |
---+ 4 | 7 +---
   | | |
 2 +---+---+ 0
   | | |
   | 5 | 8 |

This works:

vim -O 1 3 6 9 -c ':sp 2|:wincmd l|:sp 4|:sp 5|:wincmd l|:sp 7|:sp 8|wincmd
l|:sp 0

This is really ugly and takes some thought to get it right. Is there a
more clean way to do this?

If it matters, I'm using vim 8.0.0386-r1 in Gentoo.
