Hey all,

As James mentioned, I'll have some OrangePi's that I'll be giving
away. I think a have around 20 of them (various models). I'll also
bring along OrangePi Zeros that I can sell for $10 (less than cost and
no shipping) if anyone wants one of those.

You might want to bring a USB to TTL Serial Cable if you have one.
I've got a handful of them and will bring what I can find. If you
bring one, make sure it works before arriving -- drivers on these can
be a bit of a pain.

Again, bring a MicroSD card if you hope to do some hands-on. I'll be
bringing a 15X MicroSD card duplicator, so we should be able to make
copies efficiently.

If you're interested in building Armbian from scratch, you might want
to play with that afterward -- it requires significant downloading and
the build takes a while.

I'm not exactly sure what we'll do for power. If you have a power bank
that produces more than 2A at 5V then you should be good. The problem
is most of the boards have a barrel-jack power connector and not a
MicroUSB. I'll see what adapters I might have.

It will be hard to get everybody installed and operating correctly in
the short amount of time that we have. I think the expectation should
be, come and learn something, maybe pick up some free hardware, ask
some questions, take everything you've got and try to get it working
on your home network.

Looking forward to this. It should be a lot of fun.

Let me know if you have any questions before the meeting. I'll try to
answer them here.

Best,
Gabe
