Most of you probably remember that a little over a year ago, Bluehost
(which provides the server for our mailing list) decided to start charging
us. That was actually worked out, but it got us thinking about moving
things off of their hosting. In addition to that reason, it's a server that
we need to keep maintained and updated.

Since then, we've moved the website to Gitlab Pages. It's statically
generated, getting content from Meetup and Youtube. The mailing list
archives are the only web pages still hosted on the Bluehost server.

I've also been working with Xmission to move our mailing list to their
hosted service. Pete Ashdown generously approved allowing us to host it for
free with them. There would be some side effects to doing so, however.

First, the email address for the list would change. I don't think this
would be a huge deal, and we could actually just forward the current
[email protected] to the new address.

Second, they've only given us one mailing list. I requested two (so we
could have this list plus the announcement-only list), but they only gave
us one. I've been trying to see if we could get a second list, but sales
tells me to talk to support, and support tells me to talk to sales, and
I've given up on it ever happening.

So the question for all of you is this: are those side effects okay?

Thanks!
Steve
