Actually, from the look of it, I's say you must be using an HTTP client, as opposed to softsqueeze or a hardware player. HTTP players do not have the capability of volume control from slimserver, so it is not displayed. If the volume controls were there, you would still see part of it with that much extra space for it to occupy.
Again, I feel that I have to point out that the skin you are playing with is test only, for developers. I put it online for help and feedback on the changes, and based on the idea that it would be applied only to an existing, working setup or by someone who can actually be part of the debugging. By confusing it by mixing it in with a case of existing issues, you are not only providing me with no useful help or feedback, but you are taking time from my own testing. I would really prefer that you deal with the issues in the release first.
Given that this is the plugin forum, let's stick to the problems you are having with the plugins only. Have you tried other skins (included ones) with shoutcast? Have you cleared your browser cache?
