It seems to happen when a lot of people are probably hitting the actual web site (like World Series games). Maybe some of their servers are behind getting updated for whatever reason... For MLB/NBA/NHL I use the current date to get the scores, and if you're in a different time zone or a game goes late, you lose it at midnight. Again... not sure what a good solution is on this...
