Yet another path where the database is updated! This was the reason I originally tried (unsuccessfully) to get the datastore handling code patched to allow plugins to be notified when there were changes being made - that way nothing could get missed.
I don't tend to use BMF to introduce new music so I'd not noticed that one. With the newer plugin I've posted you can at least prod it to find these cases and just update the lazy search index for them (with that button on the plugin settings page). Not ideal, I know, but better than a full database rescan. I'll try to see how the BMF works to see if there's a convenient hook already there, but I'm not terribly hopeful. So you can search or browse to the new stuff - without having done a rescan. But it seems that the "lazification" doesn't get kicked off, so LazySearch won't find it. It would be nice if it could...
