Sorry, I did reply to this but it looks like I can't reply via mail in here for some reason (it's held pending moderator approval); works fine in discuss. Anyway, as James said it is their end. The status thread (which I discovered after my post) has been showing the submission server down for some time although batches of updates seem to be going thorough.
