bpa, Just to let you know, I too have had lots of problems with this "garbled audio" problem (which sounds like choppy audio of two audio streams mixed together) using mplayer on Ubuntu 5.10 (Breezy). The problem normally starts 10-30 minutes after starting mplayer (receiving BBC's radio 4 stream) and occurs using both mplayer-nogui_1.0-pre7cvs20051102-0.0_i386.deb (from marillat's debian repository) and also compiling source downloaded from mplayer cvs today. The problem has completely gone away, now that I've replaced the "stock" version of demux_real.c with your version available here: http://forums.slimdevices.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=471&d=1131147598
Thank you very much for finding a fix for this problem - I really appreciate it. Do you know when you might be able to send the patch upstream? -- dave36 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ dave36's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2579 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=17015 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
