Patrick, I'm trying to update SlimCD with a more recent mplayer. Thought this is also Debian based, your mplayer build crashes. Do you have a tarball of the sources available? I think it has some problems with my codecs: though I have moved them to the places mplayer was looking for them, it crashes. It tells me something about having been compiled for another platform?!? (My platform for the moment is VMWare...)
