Your on the right path!  I was getting suspicious as I knew that NOD32
isn't completely off even when you turn all the modules off.  It
inserts a similar kind of filter to the one that Xfire uses (for
different reasons) and I can remember an issue there.  So I googled for
NOD32 and AlienBBC and came full circle back to this...

and it all works now!  THANK YOU!  Sorry I didn't click before that
unloading IMON doesnt really unload it.  However inserting the
exclusion has done the trick :)  I have now excluded the Socketwrapper.
Next question.  Which version of of ABBC do you recommend?  I'm on
1.00.

I was so close to giving up on every finding the answer to this.  I've
been looking at new firewall firmwares and everything!
