OK, three files attached: mplayer.txt - a renamed mplayer.sh from my /users/natantiefenbrun/library/slimdevices/bin directory
Saved Terminal output.txt - server launched from terminal with --d_source on Saved Terminal output 2.txt - from within the same terminal session, this is the the tail end of the above file and then calling mplayer directly from within the terminal I'm really struggling here - thanks for all the time people are putting into resolving things.
