SoftSqueeze is an emulator of a SqueezeBox written in Java and therefore can run on various platforms including Mac and Windows.
I have used SoftSqueeze on (PowerPC) Macs with no problem, but would now like to use it on Intel Macs. However I notice that the download of SoftSqueeze 2.3 (for the Mac) has the Java code wrapped in a Mac OS X launcher which is only in the form of PowerPC code. While I am confident it will still work, does this mean the Java code will also be running in Rosetta? (Since it is launched by a PowerPC process?) Is there an update so that the Mac OS X launcher (of SoftSqueeze) is a 'Universal' Binary? Note: I am using SlimServer 6.2.2 and Mac OS X 10.4.6 -- jelockwood ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jelockwood's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5947 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=24672 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/plugins
