Just upgraded to slimserver 6.5 with the 1.05 alienbbc and this has stopped working again:
Stream is: mms://194.46.192.142:1755/talkSPORT error is: 2006-09-24 12:32:37.6379 ERROR: scanRemoteURL: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist: Connect timed out. and mplayer happily plays this from the command line. OS is FreeBSD 6.1. I cleaned everything down before upgrading to 6.5.
