1.4.x and 1.5.x is all about DASH. No changes have been made to HLS code.
1. Your settings which have HLS as first preference means that you have not been running any new code that hasn't changed since 1.3.x. So any improvements when using 1.5.x compared to 1.3.x have been coincidental. 2. Both the URL that "work" are normal shoutcast 128kbps MP3 streams not HLS or DASH. 3. To try out the "rebuffering" fixes for Windows based LMS you need to use "DASH" .
