There has been definitely one similar occurence of BSOD when using
AliencBBC - specifically associated with using mplayer.  It was fixed
by updating the network driver. Your problem sounds different as it
looks like Rhapsody installation changed some settings that Restore
hasn't restored. I've given up on Restore as many times it just fails
to restore for no apparent reason - are you sure the Restore worked ?.

AlienBBC & Mplayer run as a user application and has no special code
that could cause Windows to crash. However it looks like mplayer uses
the standard network interface in a way that some network drivers do
not like/cannot handle.  There have been 2 other instances of strange
network behaviour with mplayer - both of which were also fixed by a new
network driver.

In your case perhaps a driver update as part of Rhapsody has caused the
problem - see if you can install an older driver.
