I've posted a couple times about my config not working. I run a pi3 with Raspbian Wheezy. libc is too old.
I put some time into this last night and have managed to build a static bin for spotty. The bin should work with all armv7hf systems, you simply replace the bin Micheal's plugin provides and properly match the permissions. It seems to work well but there's a few things I've noticed that I'm unsure if they are related specifically to my version or if they're present on the original version. As I stated the original spotty bin doesn't work on my system to test. The first thing I've noticed is high CPU usage for LMS and spotty both when Spotify is streaming. Both hover around 90% of their respective cores but do seem to lower some over time, I haven't had time to sit through long streaming sessions to get any perspective on this but have read that initial high cpu is expected even in the original spotty bin... just wondering if those users that have the stock spotty setup running are seeing similar. Seems to not affect the systems operations. Second thing I'm seeing is 10-12 second delay at start of new stream. Stock spotty users are you seeing similar? could it be load time for the larger bin? it's 3X the original lastly and likely related to the onchange-hook, using squeezelite -S or -G options I'm seeing stop/start execution between songs, no real delay or big negative affect but this is the only instance in any plugin that I've seen this behavior. Michael --awesome work, I have a new respect for how much work this project is. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Girth's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=62640 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=107418 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
