Unfortunately our fate is in Spotify's hands. As was shown just a few days ago they can stop the party whenever they want. Whether it's pulling the plug on their libspotify, or disabling access to their servers for librespot. We have to hope for their courtesy. TBH my optimism took a massive dip this past weekend :-(.
