Hi Than, Yes, unfortunately it is as I suspected - still no Pioneer streamer that supports gapless under standard UPnP/DLNA, only proprietary gapless support within the device's firmware (so the device owns the playlist & it therefore gathers the files from UPnP server under its own command) :(
The foo_out_upnp plugin's built-in UPnP controller (which is not visible to the user, unlike the foo_upnp one), does precisely what Philippe suggested some controllers do to implement gapless: it uses the foobar2000 itself to gaplessly play the files and then get the Pioneer to stream foobar2000's output as a single 'track' / continuous lpcm stream (can be configured to be either contained in a wav file or raw lpcm). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cebolla's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65043 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=103728 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
