As a test I was able to get music on the GGMM E5 with LMS (+ Airplay bridge) running on a windows PC on wifi. If I connect the PC with the ethernet cable to the router (and disable the wifi) it doesn't work either. Which is the same situation as the pi. So I am afraid you are right that it is the router.
