Hi, Can anyone please help me connect SoftSqueeze to my SlimServer over SSH, so that I can listen to music at work
--------------------------- SoftSqueeze Windows v3.3 SlimServer v6.5.0 Java v1.5.0_10 freeSSHd v1.0.10 --------------------------- SoftSqueeze is on my laptop. SlimServer and freeSSHd are on my Shuttle PC at home. Both run Windows XP Pro. Connection is over wifi (11g) At home : Without SSH, I can connect SoftSqueeze to SlimServer and play music that is on the Shuttle At home : When I enable SSH tunnel on SoftSqueeze (with password, not key, authentication), I get an error message : "Connection failed. Please check server settings" freeSSHd has the SSH server running, password authentication=allowed, listen address=0.0.0.0, port=22. My username is defined with rights for shell and tunneling, and "allow local port forwarding"=yes At home : Using PuTTY, I can connect to the Shuttle over SSH, and login The Shuttle firewall is turned off and I've uninstalled the Shuttle viruschecker (and also un/reinstalled SoftSqueeze) Any ideas?
