I use the Spotify Windows app to choose "Connect to a device, Listening On pCP, SB1 & SB2" All three players are synced.
Ok, that would explain part of what you've been seeing. What I don't understand though, is why Spotty thinks it needs to shut down a helper, when it doesn't start it.
Could you please check your system and see how many spotty instances there are running when your players are synced?
