That's likely what causes the local announcement to fail. That said: I'll work on discovering the situation where the daemon would still be running, but Spotify wouldn't know about it.
My ISP resets the connection around 3am every day.
I'm pretty sure this is the reason why you lose connection over night. I'll try to find a workaround for this situation. Thanks for all your logs and persistence!
