The experimental version is excellent! This is the least experimental experimental version I've ever tested. I just happened to download it for the first time 10 minutes after .74 showed up, and haven't been able to break anything yet. :-)
Note that you must already have Material Design installed. For most users, that means adding it as a plugin by following the installation instructions on https://github.com/CDrummond/lms-material (but then ignoring the usage instructions, because Squeezelite-X will offer these skins from a simple menu).
