2) No - if I select Radio4 listen again I don't get any programme listings - I get "no programmes found" rather than the 150 odd programmes I would expect. 3)Yes - I installed the mplayer that came with AlienBBC and it and the custom-convert.conf file have write permissions. 4) Yes - I installed the correct version of 6.5.x 5) The log file gives the following entries when I try to connect to radio1 0006: 2007-02-18 09:14:37.8927 Going to parse: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio1/audiolist.shtml 0007: 2007-02-18 09:14:38.0314 Trying to open protocol stream for http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio1/audiolist.shtml 0008: 2007-02-18 09:14:38.0323 Found handler for http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/networks/radio1/audiolist.shtml - using Slim::Player::Protocols::HTTP 0009: 2007-02-18 09:14:58.1478 Couldn't resolve IP address for: www.bbc.co.uk Now I've done a bit of reading up and from the wiki and the forums it suggests my DNS is wrong. However I get the impression if this were the case I wouldn't be able to use the BBC stand alone web player on the PC. This works without a hitch. Is there some way I can force an entry of IP address and DNS server address on the Squeezebox without turning off DHCP on the network?
