Thanks for letting me know - I'm not sure what would have fixed the problem, but I expect it was one of those "have you tried turning it off an on again?" moments!
The 7.0a1 version basically works already, so it'll definitely be available soon. I was hoping to have pushed it out by now but I've not had the time available that I'd hoped for. All I've got to do is finish testing it and update some documentation, though. I'll post to the plugins list when it's ready. If anyone wants to try testing the 7.0a1-compatible version then contact me through the plugin's website (http://hickinbottom.demon.co.uk/lazysearch) and I'll get you a beta version when I've put it together.
