I know that, I mean other users connecting to spotty on the picoreplayer from their phones as they all have premium. In the office we all have a go at putting something on. So the user controlling it by connect changes. We all seem to have slightly different experience with it to. Some on android some on iOS. Got it working at the moment but then it buffers after a few songs and often disconnects. When using Tidal don't get buffering at all. So the issues could be related to the network or at least Spottys interaction with it as other devices and services on the pi seem to work ok.
