Sorry. Indeed... I completely missed those. Re: #1: I assume you are playing on the iPhone/iPad through iPeng playback. After a certain time of inactivity the server resets the stream. Since it's not iPeng controlling it, it restarts from the start. The only reason why iPeng shows the old position is because it doesn't have new data to use so it still shows the old one. But that's just playback metadata, no actual stream information. It's unreliable and not used for stream control. #2: I'll see.
