The plugin "Music and Artist Information" supports displaying pdfs (or text files). They can be displayed in a browser (using LMS WebUI or the Material skin), not on a player directly. If the plugin is installed (WebUI->Settings->Plugins) save the pdf as <album>.pdf in the album folder. If you browse to the album, you will find a menu item "Text files from music folder" when you click the "More" or "+" button for a song.
