I still get this working on Linux (RedHat FC6 if it matters)

The customer-convert.conf file looks like this:

wma wav squeezebox *
[ffmpeg] -vn -v 0 -i $FILE$ -

and the log file tells me that the stream is truncated or corrupted as
logged below. I have been able to convert WMA to WAV via command line
fine.

Any help greatly appreciated as this could be an awesome plugin for me
if I could get it working!!

Thanks.

Usually that means that input file is truncated and/or corrupted.
