As stated in the text, this sets the view of the *player*, it does not set it for Material. Material's library selection is set using the 'Change library' icon in the sub-toolbar when listing 'My Music' This allows each user to set a pesonal library view ehn browsing with Material. Setting it on th eplayer is only so that DSTM, RandomMix, etc, restrict choices to the chosen library. Personally I don't like how the library is set for a player, but I can see why it is that way for hardware players. I share players with others, but if I wanted to restrict the library view then this should be for me only - not for everyone looking to play music on a player.
