There really is only a handful of LMS plugins that are widely used enough to be valuable for a licensee. The Volumio concept itself just doesn't offer much to the hardware companies. It's basically a just nice browser interface to the audio device. A company with deep enough pockets and talented enough engineers to survive in the niche market of high end audio would probably prefer to develop something in-house.
