Is it the same for the caching of audio files? I see that my daemons
have arguments like this:
-c /var/lib/squeezeboxserver/cache/spotty/0004202ba026
--disable-audio-cache

Are these arguments ignored as well? My /tmp folder is building up tmp*
files owned by squeezeboxserver user (on a Debian system). Would it be
possible to use an alternative temporary folder? My /tmp folder is on a
small partition...

Are you sure those files are created by Spotty? There's code in it which should do regular cleanup (on startup and after every few tracks).
