I have tried both Spotify and TIDAL with the Online Music Library
Integration. It seams as the integration with Spotify have more features
(or I might have done something wrong with the TIDAL integration). From
the Spotify app on my iPhone I can chose music from Spotify library and
(also in the app) select which Squeezebox client I will use to play on.
Also I can control the volume of the Squeezebox. On the TIDAL app on the
iPhone this is not possible. It seems as I can't use the TIDAL app to
stream to Squeezebox.

What you're referring to is Spotify Connect. It's a protocol Spotify defined and that found some acceptance on the market. TIDAL and all the others don't have that feature. Therefore we can't implement TIDAL playback from within TIDAL's app.

Both Spotify and TIDAL have the feature to mark a favorite album, artist
or song and after a while it will be available as part of the (local)
music library found in Squeezebox. Great - but of some reasons when you
play (here controlled by iPeng or from the web interface) a favorite
mark from TIDAL, there seems to be an issue when you try to pause
playing or skip to another point in the song. In both cases playing
can't be continued from where you paused or skipped too. In this case
you have to continue play by starting from the beginning of a song.

Seeking within a track should just work. Pause I'm not sure, as LMS would usually top playback of remote streams after some time.

When you used logging for player.source and you tried to seek, what would you see in server.log?
